Slow cooking: flavors and knowledge…

From the CDR O Viso they promote a collaborative work initiative for the creation of a recipe book with simple preparation guidelines, which encourage the acquisition of healthy habits with foods provided by local commerce and following the fundamentals of the Atlantic Diet, under the guidance and supervision of Professionals with specialization in nutrition.

The recipe book will have a free paper edition, can be downloaded in digital format and will present “Recipes with their own name” where we will know who makes them, in which town they live and their nutritional contribution. To prepare it we have the right ingredients: traditional cuisine with foods from our land, recipes from older people who live in the Comarca da Limia, the work of a group of Biocare Program participants who meet weekly to collect information and prepare recipes with ingredients of the Atlantic Diet and the nutritional advice that facilitates our collaboration with the Ourensividad Association.
